Do you make custom designs?
We sure do! We would love to work with you and bring your idea to life. Whether your budget accounts for fine jewelry or demi-fine, we love making custom designs for our customers!
I lost one of my earrings
We often have spare earrings available - send us an email at help@beadsbytara.com and if we have a spare earring, we can complete your missing set!
Can I shop in person?
We currently only sell our jewelry online only, and offer our Permanent Jewelry + Charm Bar services in our San Francisco Studio.
If you are based in the San Francisco/Bay Area and want to shop our designs in person, please email us and we can schedule a private appointment to bring a selection of jewelry for browsing.
How much does Permanent Jewelry Cost?
Our Permanent Jewelry experience is an appointment-only service based in our San Francisco studio.
We proudly offer over 30+ chain and charm combinations utilizing 3 materials: 14k Solid Gold, 14k Gold Fill, and Sterling Silver chain options. 14k Gold Fill and Sterling Silver range from $12-26/inch (depending on length and chain), and 14k Solid Gold ranges from $23-36/inch. We offer charms ranging from $15-36, such as birthstones, initials, symbols, angel numbers, and zodiac signs.
Do you offer private events?
Absolutely! We host both private personal events (think baby showers, bachelorettes, birthdays, and weddings), as well as corporate activations (team off-sites, employee resource groups, and more) for both our Permanent Jewelry experience as well as Charm Bar experience.
We offer significant bulk discounts and travel all throughout California. Please email us at tara@beadsbytara.com with event information to learn more.
Restocking sold out designs?
We aim to restock in a timely manner, but if there is a particular piece you need on a time constraint, please send us an email and we will do our best to restock the design.

ORDERS
Do you sell Gift Cards?
We offer Gift Cards of any denomination. Gift cards may be redeemed on all designs online and in our Permanent Jewelry or Charm Bar service. Gift cards to not expire.
Do i need an account to place an order?
You may check-out as a guest - we recommend creating an account to allow for ease of accessing order history, saving favorite designs, and more.
what payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment through all major credit card processors, Shop Pay, Paypal, as well as payment plan installations through Klarna, Shop Pay Installments, and Afterpay. Your credit card information is secure and not stored within our system.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to ship orders within 48 hours (excluding custom designs or pre-ordered items), but we usually ship same day. Please allow 2-3 additional days of processing during sale events. Once shipped, orders take 2-4 days to arrive, based on delivery location
Pre-orders or custom designs have a different processing time, so please read product description carefully.
Can I cancel my order?
Please email us immediately at help@beadsbytara.com after placing your order. We cannot guarantee your order will be canceled if it has already begun processing or is placed after business hours (9-5 PM PST M-F). We do not check our email on the weekends.

We offer free USPS Ground Advantage shipping on all US Domestic orders $98+. We occasionally offer free shipping promotions via our email newsletter.
How much is shipping?
FOR DOMESTIC US ORDERS:
USPS GROUND ADVANTAGE (4-7 DAYS): $5.50 FOR ORDERS <$98
USPS GROUND ADVANTAGE (4-7 DAYS): FREE FOR ORDERS $98+
USPS PRIORITY (2-3 DAYS): $8 FOR ORDERS
International Shipping
We are pleased to offer shipping to all countries. All shipping options are available at checkout. Don't see your country? Email us and we can add your country to our shipping options.
Shipping rates do not include taxes or duties. All taxes and duties are responsibility of the customer.
Removing shipping insurance in your cart voids any responsibility should your package get lost in the US or destination country.
How do i track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a USPS tracking number which can be used to locate your package. If you are unable to locate your shipping confirmation email, please email us at help@beadsbytara.com and we can assist you in finding this information.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
We ship to PO Boxes via USPS - we cannot ship to PO Boxes through UPS.
TAXES
Since we are based in California, all shipments addressed to California addresses are taxed accordingly per city and county jurisdictions.
REPAIRS + WARRANTY
what materials do you work with?
We only utilize the best demi-fine and fine materials to produce our designs. Our designs are void of nickel or lead, the most common irritants in costume jewelry.

Is my jewelry waterproof?
While the majority of our designs are water + sweat safe, we recommend removing certain designs to prolong the luster and longevity of your jewelry.

what is your warranty on jewelry?
We are delighted to guarantee a 90-Day Warranty on all our designs, effective on the date of delivery. Fine jewelry is guaranteed for 2 years. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, such as premature tarnishing, and faulty/broken components.. Our warranty does not cover against personal incidentals, water damage, or wear and tear. We have full faith that our jewels are properly inspected and produced to ensure your orders arrive smoothly.
While we try our very best to screen for defects and flaws, if you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately at help@beadsbytara.com and we will resolve this ASAP. After 90 days from your order being placed, any damages to your jewels are considered wear and tear, and not a manufacturing defect. Please note, damage incurred due to improper care do not fall under this coverage.
do you offer repairs?
Should your damaged jewelry fall outside the 90-Day Warranty window, we are happy to offer repair services for a small fee.
Please email us at help@beadsbytara.com with a photo of your piece. We will assess your case and provide all repair options.

GIFT WITH PURCHASE
Any order with a promotional free gift must be returned if a return is initiated on an order.
How long will it take for my return to process?
Returns will be processed within 2-3 business days upon delivery confirmation (excluding weekends). Returns are processed in the form of store credit, which will be emailed to the customer. There are no restrictions or expiration dates on store credit codes.
what items are ineligible for return?
Items purchased from the sale collection, sample sale, gift cards, or customized/personalized designs are ineligible for return.
