Return Policy
In the event you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we accept returns for store credit, within 30 days of order date. Since a portion of every sale is donated to our non-profit partner organizations, we cannot offer refunds.
You may initiate the return process through our Returns Portal by selecting your order and choosing the items you wish to return for credit. A return label will be sourced for the order upon approval. Store credit will be issued within 2-3 business days of receiving your return. Due to inventory demands, we do not offer exchanges at this moment.
Please note, all custom/personalized designs and sale designs (including "Final Few” and sample sale) are final sale. Please take a moment to read item description carefully and measure prior to ordering to guarantee your perfect fit. All pre-order items are made to order and may not be cancelled once ordered. Customers may return their pre-order designs for store credit once received.
Checkout+ Coverage
At checkout, you have the option to add Checkout+ to your order. Checkout+ is an optional add-on that provides both free return shipping and package protection for your order.
- Free Return Shipping: If you need to return an item for store credit, your return shipping label is covered at no extra cost. Without Checkout+, return shipping fees will still be deducted from your store credit.
- Package Protection: If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, you can submit a claim through our Claims Portal, and upon approval, receive a same-item replacement at no extra cost.
Please note: Checkout+ cannot be cancelled or refunded after purchase and will not be included in store credit amounts. Coverage cannot be added to an order after it has been placed
Conditions for Return
Beads by Tara reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the above requirements.
- Outbound shipping fees are non-refundable
- Items must be unused, undamaged, and in sellable condition in order to be eligible for credit.
- All original packaging (jewelry pouches) and/or promotional gifts with purchase must be returned with the order
- All custom and personalized items are final sale.
- Return shipping fee will be deducted from credit

Damages and Defects1 Year WarrantyWe take pride in the quality of our jewels, but mistakes happen! All our pieces come backed by our 1 Year Warranty. In the unfortunate event of a manufacturing defect, please submit a claim through our Warranty Portal. We will issue a prepaid return label to replace the faulty piece. Alternatively, store credit may be requested if you do not want a replacement. Please note, our 1 Year Warranty does not cover any incurred damage from harsh wear and tear. Overstretched bracelets are considered user wear and tear. Full refunds will be made on a limited case by case basis.
Damaged or Incorrect Item ReceivedIn the event that part of, or your entire order is incorrect, please submit a claim through our Returns Portal within 2 days of delivery and select "Incorrect Item Received." Items must be unused and in original packaging. We will be glad to help resolve any issues!
Shipping ClaimsIf your package arrives damaged due to shipping, you can also submit a claim through our Claims Portal. If you purchased Checkout+ with your order, Package Protection will cover the cost of a replacement. If you did not purchase Checkout+, please contact us at hi@beadsbytara.com for assistance.
CouponsCoupon codes may be shared via Instagram. Coupon codes must be used at the time of placing the order and cannot be applied after the matter.
